I usually don't buy the hype, when the media grabs their pitchforks and torches. In this case, with what was allowed to happen at Penn St., this is so bad, I would not care if they burned down the stadium!
It will take 5 years before Penn St. can even think about taking steps towards being a legit power again. I think Penn St. will never be a power again, and can only hope to be a team that consistently plays in bowl games.
I have learned personal lessons from the Penn St. situation.
1. Never, even in the smallest way, sacrifice truth and honesty for success.
2. No matter how much good you do, it can be forgotten with one mistake.
Great job with this sad story, man.
